RETURN OF THE GODS:TWILIGHT OF THE SUPER HEROES
Series Summary ,Notes & Up-Date
The series is,as noted previously, completed. However, there are some cover re-designs I want to work on and then add text.
There is the possibility that the series will be released in a 4 volume graphic novel format though this is dependent upon licensing with other publishers overseas.
Keep popping by to this page for future up-dates!
Back in 1990 I wrote a series titled “Cosmic Fulcrum”,the first part of the 12 issue series was drawn by Dean Willetts who had worked on D.C. Thomson’s “Starblazer” series as well as for Harrier Comics. Sadly,Dean pulled out and the title was recycled and the whole series scrapped.
In 1996 I decided that, after many years,I had too manyt characters and that simply “retiring” some would be a waste. I wanted to overhaul the entire range of characters as well as use up storylines that had been hanging around too long!
I decided that a major event was needed [you see –you get originality here!] and I had two titles in mind. I couldn’t decide which to use so decided on both. Hence “RETURN OF THE GODS:TWILIGHT OF THE SUPER HEROES”.
This has everything -wrapped up in an eight issue series- from Lovecraftian dark gods, the more conventional pantheons, alien invasion [ahh, wait til you see the Boarmen!] and much, much more.
In 2001 I began redrawing everything again! I had,by now, gathered a little fan base spread around the world as well as having established contacts with overseas publishers. And ROTG became very flexible in format. If an Indian publisher was interested I added pages set in India. If a publisher in Hong Kong,China or Singapore or any other country was interested but wanted “national interest” then characters cand pages could, and can,be added.
Hopefully, the series should see print in 2007 and the follow-on series “The Cross-Earths Caper” is already drawn!
And,yes,a few pages have been left out here, mainly due to site limitations but also to avoid even more pirate editions of my work being sold [some bad experiences with my Eros Comix series’ “Two Hot Girls” and “Maeve”]. The scans are also in 100 dpi to prevent print quality copies.
